Junior Fellowship for Financial Literacy

"JFeL, or the Junior Fellowship for Financial Literacy, is an organization at the Ateneo de Manila University dedicated to fostering financial literacy among the Ateneo community. Our mission is to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and mindset to make informed financial decisions and build successful careers in the finance industry. Through a variety of initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs, JFeL provides a platform for students to explore the world of finance. Our organization aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by offering hands-on experiences and opportunities to network with industry professionals. By empowering students with financial literacy, JFeL seeks to cultivate a generation of responsible and financially literate individuals. "

Advocacies

JFeL is at the forefront of promoting financial literacy as a fundamental life skill. We believe that everyone, regardless of background, deserves access to financial knowledge. By equipping students with the tools to manage their finances effectively, we empower them to make informed decisions, build wealth, and achieve financial independence. We advocate for financial education as a cornerstone of personal empowerment and societal progress. Through our initiatives, we aim to create a financially literate community where individuals can thrive.

Blockchain Student Alliance Workshop
Blockchain Student Alliance (BSA) Workshop BSA Workshop, in partnership with Bitskwela, educates Ateneans on cryptocurrency basics, trends, and applications to promote digital finance literacy.
JFLiP (Junior Financial Literacy Program)
Junior Financial Literacy Program (JFLiP) JFLiP equips students with skills in trading, investing, and saving through interactive modules that build financial confidence and literacy.
GEARS (Global Equities and Research Simulation)
Global Equities Advanced Research Simulation (GEARS) GEARS is JFeL’s premier nationwide stock trading competition, challenging students to showcase strategy, skill, and financial expertise.
