The social world is neither black nor white. Kalipunang Sosyolohiya at Antropolohiya is an organization exploring the gray in-betweens of human reality through sociology and anthropology, being an open home to both its students and the curious.

Advocacies

KSA aims to share human narratives and nuanced academic discourses on social and cultural phenomena. With information, we craft context-driven action.

Rigorously studying people as active builders than passive receivers of society. Creatively executing informed social action that benefits communities
TALAB: Drag Queens React to Struggles and Support and Students Speak! Mangroves and Home by the Seas (in partnership with Department of Sociology and Anthropology)
KSA provides a platform for professors and communities to engage with issues on identity, environment, representation, social barriers, and support.
KSAnayan
KSAnayan invites experts to discuss the application of sociology and anthropology on a chosen theme relevant to work settings or everyday life.
KSAsining Fundraiser
KSAsining is KSA's fundraising initiative that bridges art and our advocacy to support communities aligned with socio-anthro values.
Karen Joy Perez
KSA helped me deepen my appreciation for socio-anthro and gave me opportunities to get to know others. I'm sure that KSA will continuously allow others to grow in their love for the field, too.

In KSA, I encountered people unlike myself yet were equally passionate on different topics, building a community that fostered connection and personal growth through shared passions and leadership.

REGIstration process

1. Accomplish the Google Form.
2. Pay the recruitment fee.
3. Schedule and attend an individual consultation with any of the officers stated in the document.
4. Further details will be discussed during the IC (i.e. expectations, etc).
5. Accepted applicants will be announced by mid-September.‍
