Project LAAN

Project LAAN envisions and works toward a society where every Filipino, especially the poor and vulnerable, has adept knowledge about public health and is empowered to make informed and appropriate health decisions.

Advocacies

We are a community that advocates for the right to health of all Filipinos through service, empowerment, creativity, and innovation.

Core Competencies

The core competencies of Project LAAN are Public Health Advocacy, Person-centered Development, Health Education, and Whole-of-Society Collaboration.
Tutubiyahe Community Engagements
LAAN visits and interacts with partner communities in Calawis, Antipolo and Malanday, Marikina through health module discussions and group activities.
Universal Health Care Summit
The UHC Summit is a flagship event of Project LAAN focusing on the UHC law, aiming to empower and inform aspiring public health advocates.
MagLAAN Donation Drive
MagLAAN is a fundraising initiative used to procure back-to-school kits and other necessities for the partner communities in Calawis and Malanday.

Coming from a background a bit far from public health, LAAN made me be able to step away from my everyday life and apply myself to a "why" beyond the classroom but one that I had every faith in.

REGIstration process

Step 1: Sign up in the LAAN booth/RecWeek website and submit the form.
Step 2: Attend the required Applicants’ General Assembly
Step 3: Submit the SimuLAAN requirements.
Step 4: Sign up for the Applicants’ IC and wait for the results.
Step 5: Attend the Welcoming General Assembly.
